|Easy Fruit Cobbler|
|1 cup flour
1/2 cup white, granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoons butter
Fresh peaches or blackberries
Vanilla Ice cream or whipped cream, optional
|Slice peaches into an 8x8 Pyrex
baking dish, sprinkle on brown sugar and dot with butter. Prepare cobbler
topping by combining flour & white sugar into a small bowl. Break egg
into the flour mixture and mix with your fingers until it resembles a
coarse meal. Sprinkle over the fruit and bake at 350 degrees for 45
minutes, or until brown and bubbly. Serve warm with a dollop or whipped
cream or ice cream if desired.
Canned fruit may be substituted for fresh.
