Candied Walnuts for salads  

2 tables. margarine
8 oz. walnut halves
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Melt marg. in a medium saucepan. Toss walnuts in it until evenly coated. Pour them into a bowl and toss them with the sugar until coated.

Spread coated walnuts onto a cookie sheet and bake in 400 degree oven and bake for several mins. Remove, stir walnuts, turning them, then return to oven for an additional few mins.

Cool for use in green salads.
