Thick Tomato Pesto Soup  


1 or 2 Jars prepared Marinara Sauce (or make your own)
1 or 2  Pints cream or half and half
6 oz pesto
  cup chopped pine nuts or walnuts

Heat the Marinara sauce. Add the pesto and cream until you get the consistency you prefer. Add the nuts and heat through. 

Serve with crusty bread, and/or in a bread bowl. You can garnish with fresh basil.
