Kim's Lavender Shortbread

Kim occasionally offers this wonderful dessert for her Arboleda guests.

1 C butter (or margerine)
1/2 C sugar
2 C flour
1 T each finely chopped lavender leaves and flowers

 

Cream butter, sugar with mixer or food processor. Add flour & leaves (not flowers) till just blended.  Press batter into large ungreased pan, and then press flowers into the top of the batter.

Bake @ 350° for 10-12 mins.  When cool, break into chunks.
