The Best Fudge  

2 cups sugar
1 small can evaporated milk
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup margarine
dash of salt
1 pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup toasted walnuts (place in oven at 325 degrees for ten minutes, stir once)
1 teasp vanilla

In a 2-quart saucepan combine the sugar, milk, marshmallows, marg. & salt. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and is bubbling. Boil and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chips until completely melted. Then stir in walnuts and vanilla. Spread onto a buttered 8 inch square pan and cool before cutting.
