Easy Fruit Cobbler  
1 cup flour
1/2 cup white, granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoons butter

Fresh peaches or blackberries

Vanilla Ice cream or whipped cream, optional

Slice peaches into an 8x8 Pyrex baking dish, sprinkle on brown sugar and dot with butter. Prepare cobbler topping by combining flour & white sugar into a small bowl. Break egg into the flour mixture and mix with your fingers until it resembles a coarse meal. Sprinkle over the fruit and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until brown and bubbly. Serve warm with a dollop or whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Canned fruit may be substituted for fresh.
